The WEB 3 Vision

Since 2017, I’ve been diving into the world of tech and computers, always eager to stay updated on the latest trends and innovations. One thing that’s really caught my interest is cryptocurrency trading and keeping an eye on new projects. I’m a big fan of blockchain and Web 3, and I’m determined to spread the word about them in Pakistan.

 

That’s why I started the MOMININWEB3 page, where I share all sorts of insights and info about Web 3. And to take it a step further, I co-founded Pakistan’s very first Web 3 space, called WEB3WORKS. You can find us on Instagram as Web3WorksPak. 

 

We’re all about building a community, so I also created Web3Pak, a group for fellow Web 3 enthusiasts. We organize competitions and hackathons to keep the excitement going, and we’ve got over 1000 active members who are always keen to chip in.

 

But I also believe in inclusivity, which is why I’ve put a special focus on women’s representation in this field. That’s where WomenInWeb3 comes in. It’s a community I started to get more women involved in this awesome niche. Women’s representation in Web 3.0 has been lacking, but with the potential in Pakistan, I am sure that this can be overcome. 

 

A recent example of a successful Web 3.0 case would be the example of the H20 chain developed thanks to the Tayyaba Foundation with a mission of welfare while also promoting innovation. We launched an NFT-powered fundraising scheme for the Tayyaba Foundation, raising a whopping 2 million PKR. And in 2022, I kicked off the H2O chain, a project aimed at supporting over a hundred households led by women. We’ve been making a difference in rural Sindh, bringing transparency and control to the people and promoting digital wallets to make life a little easier. It’s all about using technology for good, and I’m proud to be a part of it.
